Our Story

Hello! I'm Jade, a 30-something-year-old Ventura native with nearly 17 years in the restaurant industry. At 15, my mother opened her first restaurant, doing it all on her own while raising me as a single mom. Her tenacity and hard work are truly inspiring. Since then, she has launched three more successful restaurants, remaining hands-on every step of the way. I spent many years learning the ins and outs of the business under her guidance. When I turned 30, I felt it was time to carve my own path.

The Little Lion is my tribute to my mother, a proud Leo, who instilled in me a fiery spirit and the desire to grow. This project reflects my passion, gratitude, and connection to our wonderful community. The outpouring of support has been overwhelming. Starting a business is no small feat, and this journey has been humbling. With the best intentions, diligence, and an open heart, I've found great fulfillment in every moment. I’m excited to share this journey with all of you! A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has made this possible.
